    1. DESCRIPTION
    Dow Corning CN 8760 is a two-part, low viscosity, no bulging, low cost, easy
    repairability addition cure silicone pottant. It is supplied as A and B components
    especially designed for power module, HID application.

    Dow Corning CN 8760 offers the following features:

    Low viscosity
    Easy to fill gaps
    Very low hydrogen release by reaction with moisture
    No bulging
    No corrosion
    Addition cure system: no by-products generated
    Excellent dielectric properties
    Cured rubber exhibits good dielectric properties
    Excellent thermal stability and cold resistance
    Cured rubber provides wide service temperature range.

    2.HOW TO USE

    Mixing and de-airing


    Before mixing, Part A and Part B should be agitated well.
    Thoroughly mix A and B in a ratio of 1:1 by weight or volume.
    Vacuum de-airing is recommended. A residual pressure of 10-20 mm mercury
    applied for 3 minutes will sufficiently de-air the material.
    Pot life
    When Parts A and B are mixed, the mixture will remain usable for 65 minutes at
    25°C.
    Curing
    24 hours at 25°C or 30 minutes at 50°C.
    Cure can be inhibited when in contact with certain materials such as organo-tin
    compounds, sulphurs, flux, latex and amines.

    3. LIMITATIONS
    CN 8760 is neither tested nor represented as suitable for medical or pharmaceutical
    uses.
