Sub: Regarding load difference in Madhepura Ckt-1 and Madhepura Ckt-2 after LILO
at GSS Saharsa.

Ref: (i) Letter No.118 dated 20.05.2020 of AEE Sonbarsa.

Sir,
While enclosing the above referred letter of AEE Trans. sub division Sonbarsa which
is self explanatory, it is to say that load difference in Madhepura Ckt-1 and Madhepura Ckt-2
has been observed after LILO at GSS Saharsa. Due to this, load reaches to 65 MW in
Madhepura Ckt-2 while Madhepura Ckt-1 has only 06-07 MW load with poor power factor
ranging 07-08, leading to huge line loss. Such situation should be avoided. For this transfer
bus may be engaged and Madhepura Ckt-1 be shifted to Transfer bus at GSS Saharsa to see if
load difference can be reduced after taking consult from SLDC.
Hence, GSS officers may be instructed to take necessary action and if such
improvement in load difference is observed after switching Madhepura Ckt-1 from main bus to
transfer bus at GSS Saharsa, then report of loading may be intimated to the undersign.

Encl: As above
Yours’ faithfully

(Satya Narayan Kumar)
