Reinstalling the flash memory of my POD X3 Live

What does 'reflashing' mean? And what does that do for my POD X3 live?
'Reflashing' is our term for reinstalling and/or updating the Flash Memory of your Line 6 gear. Updating the flash memory gets your X3L up to date
with our server protocol to take advantage of new fixes or features, while re-installing the flash memory simply reformats your X3L from any data
corruption and/or possibly "wake up" any conflicted circuitry that may have accumulated over time and use.

Pedal Calibration
How do I know when it's time to calibrate my POD X3 Live?
A trick for amps: Plug a guitar into your Line 6 amp, do not connect the FBV board at this time. Strum your guitar at a reasonably audible level while
plugging in the FBV board to the amp's FBV jack. If the volume changes, you know it needs calibration.
