CREATION OF ADVOCACY MATERIALS TO REINFORCE THE ACQUISITION OF NATIONAL CERTIFICATE OF

OUR T.L.E. LEARNERS’

Good morning Cavite! Good morning Dasmariñas!

Paliparan National High School offers the following courses, IA, H.E., and ICT. Under Industrial Arts, are
Electrical Installation and Maintenance, and Consumer Electronics Servicing – EPAS ; in Home Economics
we have Cookery and Beauty Care; and in ICT we offered Computer Systems Servicing. We offer this
T.L.E courses to ensure applicable skills in relevance to the available jobs in the Paliparan Community.

Here in PNHS, we have existing practical rooms to cater students’ application and practice to enhance
acquired skills for them to enjoy the actual experience. We have I.A Room for EIM and CSS students,
Massage Room for Massage Therapy learners, Computer Room for ICT, and Practice House for Cookery.

In the SY 2015 – 2016, we had a total of 124 NC passers comprise of 120 from Massage Therapy
Students and 4 EIM learners.

Last summer vacation the T.L.E. Teachers underwent Trainer’s Methodology I training, the first batch
have already receive their National Certificates and the second batch are presently working for the
release of their National Certificates, I for one being the Head Teacher of the Department also await for
my NC.

100% of the T.L.E. Teachers are NC II Holders.

Our T.L.E. Teachers are continually and actively attending skills trainings to enhance teaching capacity
and upgrade knowledge for better teaching and learning experience.

We are currently planning to tie-up or collaborates prospective partners for immersion and practice –
ground for the students before this school year ended.

T.L.E department in PNHS is currently conducting functional Feeding program which has been running
for four years now. At the same time the department is also planning to create a bio-aero garden for
Gulayan sa Paaralan. Furthermore also plan to conduct this year we plan a tree planting to support the
Philippines advocacy on tree planting.

T.L.E. teachers in PNHS are really doing their best to transfer the learning and skills to the students
through practical, hands-on, or actual activities that provide learners the best chance to improve the
acquired learning and skills. They also have remedial activities to ensure 100% passing percentage of the
students in the NC II assessment. These best practices that we had will positively ensures students’
success in NC II assessment.
