Activist On Floyd Death / Arrest Made

On Friday, May 29 activist Tamika Mallory gave a speech at a gathering in
Minneapolis and it went viral. Mallory said of the protests amid George Floyd's death,
"this is a coordinated activity that is taking place throughout the country, so we are in
a state of emergency. Black people are dying in an emergency." He continued, "we
cannot think of this as a separate incident. The reason the buildings burned down was
not only for our brother George Floyd.
They were burning because the people here in Minnesota told people in New York, for
people in California "For people in Memphis, for people throughout this nation, that's
enough. We are not responsible for the mental illness that befalls our people by the
American government, institutions, and people in power. As said this country should
share about land that is free for all but the fact is it is not yet free for blacks and we
are tired.
To those who complain. about black people riots and looting, he said, "America has
plundered black people. America plundered Native Americans when they first came
here. Plunder is what you do. We learn from you. We learned violence from you. If
you want us to do better, damn it, you do better. "He added," I don't care if they burn
Target, because Target must be on the streets with us, calling for justice that is
appropriate for our people. Where was the automatic zone at the time when Philando
Castile was shot in the car, which they actually represented?.

Response :
The state must be able to behave fairly about its citizens as well as the black and
white race. there is no difference between it. Regarding the promise of territorial
division, it was also immediately carried out so that the people would not do anything
about rebellion and pillaging. They rebelled because their rights were not fulfilled,
and the police should also be protective, not join the fight against the oppressed. The
people rebelled because the state was unfair to their black race, and it was appropriate
for the state to immediately take decisive action on this issue.
