Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

Grade: L0-L1; Associate Engineer


Location: Hyderabad, Mumbai.
Role and We are seeking a Graduate Mechanical Engineer to join our multi-disciplinary Data
Responsibilities: Centre design teams to work on a Data Centre projects, mainly covering Data
Centre’s/Mission Critical projects, with leading architects and clients both in India and
overseas. We are looking for a candidate who will fit in with our dynamic teams in a
progressive, design-led environment with the successful candidate becoming a contributor
to the excellent atmosphere which exists within the group.

Role and Responsibilities:


 Undertaking mechanical design for DC projects of varying scales.
 Knowledge of data centre projects and its latest trend for cost-effective design.
 Preparation of mechanical single line diagrams and layouts in Revit and CAD
software. Good knowledge of Revit and CAD will be preferable.
 The knowledge of CFD analysis, Cooling load calculations and hydraulic
calculations.
 Preparation of bill of material for the mechanical design.
 Good knowledge of different mechanical systems used in air conditioning.
 Mechanical design knowledge for the following
- Heat load calculations.
- Terminal selection such as grills, diffusers
- Equipment selections / sizing such as fan coil units, AHUs, Chillers, Cooling
Towers, Pumps, Thermal Storage etc.
- Plant room preparations/planning
- Design of fuel delivery system to DG sets and other equipment.
- Design and sizing of water tanks, piping and related pumps.
- Good knowledge of water treatment methods.
- Good knowledge of fire protection/suppression system
 Working closely with Architects/Consultants and other in-house design engineers.
 Production of engineering drawings. Preparing and co-ordinating mechanical
reports and specifications.
 Knowledge of Uptime and TIA standards for data centres design.
 Design and co-ordinating work with engineers of other disciplines.
 Attending meetings and communicating with clients to establish their needs.
 Working with the project team to ensure production of deliverables to agreed
timelines and within budget.
 Sharing technical knowledge with the members of the team.
 Up to date knowledge of the latest trend in the mechanical discipline in particular
relation to the Data Centres design.
 Preparation of financial analysis for the various design of DC projects.
 Supporting procuring work with the best available products in the market.
 Responsible and accountable for maintaining client relations.

Requirements:  Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering.


 Extensive knowledge in the field of MVAC design and latest trends.
 Be able to design and deliver MVAC cooling solutions for mission-critical
projects.
 Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines is essential.
 Excellent planning and organisation skills.
 Excellent communications skills (both written and verbal).
 Able to demonstrate strong commercial acumen.

Role and We are seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer to join our multi-disciplinary Data Centre
Responsibilities: design teams to work on a Data Centre projects, mainly covering Data Centre’s/Mission
Critical projects, with leading architects and clients both in India and overseas. We are
looking for a candidate who will fit in with our dynamic teams in a progressive, design-
led environment with the successful candidate becoming a contributor to the excellent
atmosphere which exists within the group.

Role and Responsibilities:


 Undertaking structural + interior design for DC projects of varying scales.
 Knowledge of data centre projects and its latest trend for cost-effective design.
 Preparation of drawings in Revit and CAD software. Good knowledge of Revit
and CAD will be preferable.
 Good knowledge of STADD software for structural design.
 Preparation of bill of material for the structural and interior design.
 Good knowledge of different structural design including the combination of MS
and RCC.
 Civil design knowledge for the following
- Design of structural frame for high rise buildings with high floor loading.
- Design of Flat Slab structure.
- Design of Campsite structure
- Knowledge of latest construction mythology and materials.
- Knowledge of various basic interior finishes material.
 Working closely with Architects/Consultants and other in-house design engineers.
 Production of engineering drawings. Preparing and co-ordinating mechanical
reports and specifications.
 Knowledge of Uptime and TIA standards for data centres design.
 Design and co-ordinating work with engineers of other disciplines.
 Attending meetings and communicating with clients to establish their needs.

 Preparation of electrical single line diagrams and layouts in Revit and CAD
software. Good knowledge of Revit and CAD will be preferable.
 Preparation of bill of material for the electrical design.
 Good knowledge of 415V, 11kV, 22kV, 33kV, 220kV electrical systems and its
design parameters.
 Electrical design knowledge for the following
- Internal and external lighting,
- Lightning protection design for the buildings
- Knowledge of the UPS, Transformer, and Diesel Generator sets.
- Knowledge of cables and their design parameters.
- Good knowledge of electrical protection scheme.
- Electrical panels design with a different type of switchgear.
- Knowledge of the various type of grounding methods.
- The knowledge of harmonics, its effects and methods to reduce.
 Working closely with Architects/Consultants and other in-house design engineers.
