It represents a joyful celebration and at the same time, it signifies their devotion
and faith to their patron St. John, The Baptist. The paint of Basaan Sa San Juan only
shows how people give and pay respect to the celebration of the Fiest of St. John. They
used water because it signifies the remarkable contribution of St. John, the baptist,
during his time where he used water to baptized Jesus and the people. That up until
now was preserved and became part of our religious beliefs.

This celebration only implies that Roman Catholics truly give value and
importance to how Jesus being baptized by St. John. This means that this celebration
will be always part of our lives as a Roman Catholic.
