With approximately 2 million container units of every stringent maintenance programme ensures they
size and type, Maersk Line has a container to suit your are always ready for service. Each container in our
needs. Our fleet of modern Maersk Line containers fleet meets the Convention for Safe Containers (CSC)

 Dry freight containers
Our dry containers come in several sizes and designs: We offer various types of extra equipment:
• 20’ with payload up to 28.2 metric tons • Hanger beams which allow transport of garments on
• 40’ 8’ 6” with payload up to 28.8 metric tons hangers without further packing
• 45’ 9’ 6” high with a total capacity of 85 cubic metres • Lashing bars and lashing rings to give your cargo

Flat racks
Maersk Line has specific equipment for heavy cargo that
requires special attention, or does not fit into a standard
container. We provide flat racks in length of 20’ and 40’,
with fixed or collapsible end-walls.

This equipment is suitable for top or side loading, and

ideal for items such as heavy machinery, pipes and boats.

Open tops
Our special open top containers are available in lengths of
20’ and 40’ and have been designed for over-sized cargo
that does not fit into a standard container.

They are equipped with removable roof bows and tarpaulin

covers, and the cargo can easily be secured with lashing
bars and bull rings.
