    Readlang Reaction

    Readlang is a useful tool for learning the target language. It provides reading texts in

    the target language and helps learners figure out the meaning in the context. When it is

    applied in teaching, it can be useful when the teacher can evaluate students' reading skills and

    their own internal vocabulary storage. It uses an interval repetition system to optimize the

    acquisition of useful vocabulary and recommends suitable content sources for learners. In the

    “Library" section, there are many different texts classified by genre, difficulty, and length.

    They are not just random text. The learners can set search parameters to display only the

    selected length of text from a specific genre that fits the level of the learners. The learners can

    upload the text which they are learning in their classroom. Readlang also provides a vast list

    of websites and all kinds of other reading materials for learners of various languages.

    Magazines, local newspapers, e-books, and online TV channels - all of which are open to

    exploration. If the learners choose a text and start reading, they can click an unknown word,

    and it will be translated into the language they set up in their native language. This allows

    learners to focus on reading in the target language, helping to grasp the meaning, and

    motivating the learners to continue reading the content. When learners click and drag the

    phrase, it will show a translation of the whole phrase. This is especially useful for learning

    phrases such as compound words of verbs in multiple words, and idioms that cannot be

    literally translated. There is a flashcard section that helps learners learn and test their

    knowledge about vocabulary. This shows a card on the page with the words you marked and

    the sentences that the target words included. It is supposed to be able to guess and remember

    words in context. Learners can choose the style of their vocabulary practice; there is a typing

    mode where you can write the answer, a speaking mode in which the program reads the
    words, and a manual mode that you have to remember by looking at the words. You can

    select the mode in setup. After reading the text and reviewing the words, it will monitor their

    progress in %. Readlang also has the activity monitor function on the home page. Activity

    Monitor informs you about the amount of word translation that day, and the attached graph

    will show daily goals.
