· Conducted initial intake interviews of unaccompanied immigrant minors that included gathering familial
details, establish age of the youth, and determine possible sponsorship information.
· Conducted interviews of family members, friends of family, and sponsors to determine the integrity of the
relationship and verify information received from minor within 24-48 hours upon admission to the shelter.
· Ensured the timely completion of assessments, Initial Intakes, Emergency Placement, and Preliminary
Service Plans, in accordance with SWKey, State, and Federal requirements, which included initial contact
with family members/sponsors via telephone and family/friends in home country.

release of youth to designated ORR representative with release request and discharge notification’s and all
