Addendum for Rinsing Wands

This is an addendum to the 2008T, 2008K, 2008K2 and 2008K@home Hemodialysis Machine
Operator’s Manual, P/N 490122, P/N 490042, P/N 490136 and P/N 490180.

This addendum relates to the following additions:

Rinsing procedures for the Acid Concentrate (Red), Bicarbonate Concentrate (Blue), Acetic Acid (White), and
Bleach (Yellow) Wands.

INSTRUCTIONS

I. Rinse all wands following the procedure below after each use.

II. Rinse the top of the wand assembly using RO Water as shown in Figures 1 thru 2A. Rinse the top, bottom plus the intake
tube thoroughly for 30 seconds as shown.

III. Place the rinsed wand assemblies in a clean area.

IV. Visually inspect assembly for corrosion and rust ensuring that there is none inside or out.

V. If corrosion or rust is present, repeat the rinsing procedure as shown. If the corrosion or rust is still present discard the wand
assembly and replace with new one.
