The dual string anchor will also support the short string in the case of a part, preventing it from falling onto the packer. Operation Procedure The main body of the dual string anchor is installed in the proper point of the long tubing string. After the packer has been set and the long tubing string landed, the latch sub is made up on the bottom of the short string and run in. The sub will automatically locate and latch into the dual string anchor. The sub can be released with one-third of a turn to the left at the anchor. Right hand release also available.
