Weight reduction has been at the heart of the New MEGANE R.S. Trophy-R development. The
engineers at Renault Sport looked at every detail, with the development of thin windows and
the absence of a rear windscreen wiper. Likewise, there are no rear seats, which consequently
allows a reduction in weight and offers a solution for fixing a set of four optional Carbon wheels,

ideal for track days. Result: 1,306kg in weight, 130 kg lighter than MEGANE R.S. TROPHY*,
and an impressive power to weight ratio of 4.35 kg/hp.

EFFICIENCY
New MEGANE R.S. TROPHY-R is the result of extreme aerodynamic
Carbon diffuser with F1®-type tailfins research to optimise the airflow and maximise downforce.
The NACA air intake on the bonnet coupled with a lower extractor
ensures optimal cooling of the engine. Under the bumper, a lower
aero blade reinforces the support on the front and, with the lower
fairings, contributes to improve the airflow under the car. Brake
scoops provide optimal ventilation. At the rear, the diffuser is fitted
with thin curved fins, a solution borrowed from F1® technology.

Positioned on the front bumper, a thin aerodynamic fin ensures greater stability, while the fairing under the engine improves the airflow under the car.

pushes the limits of grip in the bends and traction on corners:

camber; Öhlins® adjustable dampers which can be adjusted
according to compression/relaxation*; 4x42mm Brembo® callipers
with 355mm dual-material brakes. Performance without compromise,
for expert drivers.
