 Lampadina was designed by Achille
Castiglioni for the opening of the Flos
showroom in Turin in 1972 , Lampadi-
na is a table or wall- mounted luminaire
lamp, made up of a large bulb.
The concept of our projecct was to de-
sign an exibition space for
Lamadina,so that the visitors of the
space can guess the object on which
the exibiton was based,after viewing
the space.

Lampadina’s parts

1.Bulb-Globolux transparent glass bul-

b,with partially frosted shell, to prevent
the direct light from blinding the users.
2.Lamp-Holder: socket with a switch
3.Base: 2 slightly spaced anodised alu-
minum perfoated discs,which resemble
a film reel (spool), convenient for rolling
un the excess wire or hanging the lamp
on the wall.

Our space is divided in four rooms,each

telling story with the shapes and forms
of Lampadina’s parts.the space works
as a maze,the visitors get to find out
new things as they continue to explore
space more.the last room (R4),which
is located in the centre,has the sur-
prize effect for the visitors,after explor-
ing three dark rooms,the central part
(R4),which is full of light has the biggest
effect on the guests.

R2 - The Torch Room

Second dark room,is inspired by the

handle of lampadina.
In the entrance of the room,there is a
cutom made table on which
lampadina-like torches are placed for
each visitor,for them to find hidden
sketches/notes about Lampadina
and other designs on the curved
walls,which create a maze and
exitment in the room.

Last room,the lightest and most exiting.

the viewers get to see the central part
of the exibition,which creates a contrast
from the whole exibition.Room is full of
bulbs,with different shapes,some trans-
parent and some frosted (inspiratio_

Delta is a family of lights,containig table
lamp,suspended lamp & wall lamp.Cre-
ated for small,narrow interiors,so they
can be easily transported and used in
various ways.Lamps are able to change
the direction of light with the help of vires
and their wrapping combinations;they
can be hung or put in different versions

times because of its emptiness and
darkness. While walking in the under-
grounds alone at a night time everyone
shoul feel safe.
project is for underground places, which
are not safe enough, especially at night.
Light installation , will transfer the space
into colorful,bright and safe environment.

How does the Installation Work

arrives, sensor will percept the
person and lights will turn on. So while
entering the underground,
sensor sees you and the shape of the
people will light up and follow as person
walks with different colors, that will cre-
ate very colorful,bright and safe environ-
ment.

 My Aunt once said ”You won’t know
city’s history and culture ,until you see
their Cemetery”. This words made me
think that I have never seen the Ceme-
tery of milan.
This reportage shows the lost face and
meaning of milan’s cemetery.How very
personal and private place of the city be-
came one of the famous tourist attrac-
tion.Nobody who is walking along the
small trails of the cemetery remembers
that next to them are graves of the real
people.It is hardly possible to see rela-
tives or close friends visiting graves.The
only ones who are murning for the dead
ones are the sculptures.

Location:The Cimitero
Monumentale.
This cemetery is one of the largest cemeteries
in Milan, Italy.
Designed by the
architect Carlo Maciachini (1818–1899).

was first impression when starting the
project,and how it changed after spend-
ing some time on the terytory,befing
those dramatic sculptures are some of
the mos amazing achitectural buildings,-
