B Rejection Letter

company offers students financial aid for outstanding performance. This is unfortunate for us to
inform you that your request for scholarship donation has been rejected this year. You have not
been selected for the scholarship program this year.

your merits. X Company is having a limited budget this year which is forcing the company to cut

C Asking for Copies of Performance Reviews

Subject: Request for the copies of performance reviews over the past five years.

Dear Sir,

As you know that our company is a fast-moving company in the industry. The success of the
company is dependent on the performance of its employees. The company has regularly
managed the performance management system within the organisational aspects effectively so
that the company can acquire the targets and milestones. The performance management system
in the company includes performance reviews from the managers and employees himself. As a
motivated and ambitious employee, I always look forward to developing my skills and
knowledge by reviewing the performance reviews based on previous contributions. It is a sorrow
to remind you that the company has changed seven managers in the last five years and due to the
turmoil, the employees have not appropriately received the performance reviews. The
inconsistency in performance is worrying for frontline employees. As an example, I used to work
under a manager who had made a performance review on my previous activities and
contributions were working with the company only for three weeks. It is hard for the manager to
evaluate my performance and identify my areas of strengths and weaknesses in just three weeks
which affect my performance reviews and further future development plan. In terms of another
performance review, the manager has to leave the company just after the day he prepared my
performance review. In this circumstance, I am worried about a fair performance review. I am
worried about my career progression and wage increases due to the inconsistency in performance
reviews.

However, I am aware of the new policy developed by the human resource department which is
not allowing an employee to have the performance reviews without the managerial permission,

manager who was involved in preparing the performance review. In my case, three of my
previous managers are no longer connected with the company and I am worried about evaluating
my performance and performance reviews. With respect, I am requesting you for the copies of
my previous five performance reviews so that not only my performance management system can
be effective but also the company can be benefitted from my contribution in the future. I hope
that your kind and wise consideration will allow me to have my desired, expected and deserved
performance reviews for the future development of both the career and employee facilities.
