Dear Students,

Hope all of you are safe and practicing social distancing.

Now that you have completed bridge term examinations, we should now stat with the capstone
project. The detailed guidelines are sent in a separate file.

Capstone project generally administrated at the end of the program to implement all the leanings
from the program in a real life project. We have designed few projects (list given below) that will
give you exposure on a live Analytical project. This is opportunity for you to apply all techniques,
skills you have acquired during your MBA DSA program. You have been a wonderful batch and I
am sure you will do good justices and come up with great project. I request you to go through and
follow the guidelines.

The process of allocating projects is as follows :

1. Create group of 3 students

2. Among each of the projects given below, each group to give 3 best choices in order
(choice1, choice2 and choice3) This process should be done in 48 hours. The format is
given below. You may only mention project code like project1, project 2 etc.
3. The Academic administration will try to accommodate your choices and allocate the
projects. Please note that you may not necessarily get your choice, though we will try best
to impartially allocate each group their choice. Any conflict in this case will be handled
separately.
4. Once you are communicated about your project, you need to fill Project registration form
with choice of faculty guide (Industry mentor choice is not available as each project has
predefined industry mentor) You need to inform the guide before you put his/her name on
the form. Each faculty cannot guide more than 4 projects. You may select any faculty
within NMIMS family as a mentor, with consent of the faculty. The timeline for registration
is mentioned in the guidelines.
5. Once registration is confirmed, you will be contacting respective institute and industry
mentors to create project proposal as mentioned in the guidelines. The proposal should be
approved by both mentors. You will be in contact with both mentors from time to time in
the process.
6. The project to be submitted before due date mentioned in the guidelines. The details of the
projects are given in the Guidelines.

Please feel free to contact in case you have any questions.

Wish you the Best!
