This pattern is a short-sleeve cardigan worked flat from the top down.

The cardigan in reversible. You decide the right side and the wrong side when weaving in
ends adding buttons. Buttons are optional.

Ch-3 at beg of row counts as 1 dc. Tch counts as last st of each row.

Buttonband
Set-up Row: Attach yarn at bottom hem, ch 2, evenly hdc up front band to neckline, working
2 hdc in each beg ch-3, turn – 74 hdc.

Row 1: Ch 2 (counts as first hdc), hdc in each st across.

Row 2: Ch 2, hdc in next 4 sts, *ch 1, sk next st, hdc in next 2 sts; rep from * to last 4 sts,
hdc in to end of row, turn.

Row 3: Ch 2, hdc in each dc and ch-1 sp across row.

Fasten off.

Work second Buttonband same as first.

Finishing
Block and weave in all ends.

Decide which side will be the right side and which will be the wrong side of the piece.

Optional: Evenly place buttons on the left Buttonband, using the ch-1 space on the
opposite band as buttonholes.
