    1.0 General
    1.1 Scope
    Specification for welded Stainless Steel Pipe

    1.2 Code
    ASTM EDT 2005

    1.3 Material Specification : ASTM A 928 UNS S31803 CL1

    1.4 End Use : Nozzle Necks

    2.0 Specification & Technical Delivery Condition

    2.1 The material shall strictly conform to the requirements of A 928 & A 928M of
    ASTM EDT 2005 .
    2.2 The steel plate material shall conform to the requirements of one of the grades of
    specification A240/A240M, list in Table 1.
    2.3 The chemical composition of the plate shall conform to the requirements of the applicable
    specification and grade listed in Table.
    2.5 The manufacturer or supplier shall furnish a Certified Test Report certifying that the
    material was manufactured, sampled, tested, and inspected in accordance with the
    Specification, including year date, the Supplementary Requirements (if applicable),
    and that the results met the requirements of the Specification and the
    Supplementary Requirements (If applicable).
    The Certified Test Report shall be dated and clearly identify the organization submitting the
    report.

    In addition, the Certified test Report shall include the following information and test results,
    where applicable
    2.5.1 Heat Number
    2.5.2 Heat Analysis
    2.5.3 Tensile properties
    2.5.4 Flattening Test
    2.5.5 Visual & Dimensional Report
    2.5.6 Hardness Test Values
    2.5.7 Hydrostatic Test
    2.5.8 Bend test
    2.5.9 Impact test
    2.5.10 Width of the gage length, if longitudinal strip tension test specimens are used.
    2.5.11 Other test results to be reported by the product specification

    2.6 Material Mill Certificates shall be in accordance with EN-10204 3.1


    2.8 The size, quantity & length of the pipes shall be as per PRS
    2.9 Duplex material shall be conform to attachment
    ( MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR DUPLEX PIPES )
