Setting screen:
ISO = 1 For FANUC Device.
I/O = 0 Set PRM No. 2 & 552 for stop bits and baudrate.
1 Set PRM No. 12 & 553 for stop bits and baudrate.
2 Set PRM No. 50 & 250 for stop bits and baudrate.
PRM 2, 12, 50 = 1xxxxxx1 (No feed output, 2 stop bits), PRM 552, 553, 250 = 10 (4800)
Additional parameters:
No. 10.4 Protect programs 9000 ~ 9999.
No. 38.7&6 Device type- 10xxxxxx = RS-232
No. 38.3 Keypad type- 1 = Full keypad, 0 = standard keypad
No. 55.1 End code- 1 = ETX, 0 = CR
No. 57.4 LF or LF/CR- 1 = LF/CR, 0 = LF
Saving memory
NC Parameters
Select EDIT mode.
Select PARAMETER screen.
Press OUTPUT START.
*note: OUTPUT will flash in the lower right-hand corner and NC parameters will be output. To download 900 series parameters, hold
EOB key while pressing OUTPUT START. Otherwise, write them down.
PMC Parameters
Select EDIT mode.
Select DGN screen.
Press OUTPUT START.
All NC Programs
Select EDIT mode.
Select PROGRAM Memory screen.
Key in “O-9999”.
Press OUTPUT START.
Offsets
Select EDIT mode.
Select OFFSET screen.
Press OUTPUT START.
Macro Variables
*note: Depending on the CNC software version, macro common variables (#500 to #999) can be output. However, common variables #
100 to #199 cannot be output. It is best to write them down, rather than outputting them.
Conversational programs
Select EDIT mode.
Select CONVERSATIONAL PROGRAM screen.
Press “Right Arrow” softkey twice.
Input “-9999” at PRG NO.
Press “PUNCH”.
Restoring Memory
NC Parameters
Select EDIT mode.
Select PARAMETER screen.
Press INPUT.
Power OFF/ON.
PMC Parameters
Select EDIT mode.
Select DGN screen.
Hold EOB and press INPUT.
NC Programs
Select EDIT mode.
Select PROGRAM Memory screen.
Verify Program Protect Key is OFF.
Press INPUT.
Offsets
Select EDIT mode.
Select PROGRAM Memory screen.
Verify Memory Protect Key is OFF.
Press INPUT.
Run this program to write data to OFFSET screen.
Macro Variables
Select EDIT mode.
Select PROGRAM Memory screen.
Verify Memory Protect Key is OFF.
Press INPUT.
Run this program to write data to Macro Variable screen.
