WORK EXPERIENCE
AUG 2019 – DEC 2019 Visiting Researcher
Virtual Reality Research Group, Ship Design Laboratory, School of Naval Architecture
and Marine Engineering, National Technical University of Athens, Athens, Greece.
Working on coupling parametric-design tools with virtual reality systems to develop
an immersed computational design platform for complex maritime vessels.
OCT 2018 – FEB 2019 Research Assistant (Part-time basis)
Department of Naval Architecture, Ocean and Marine Engineering, University of
Strathclyde, Glasgow, United Kingdom.
As a part of the NEXUS project, I worked on the development of a digital system for
simulating and predicting the operational and maintenance activities in offshore
wind turbine farms. The NEXUS project was being carried out by a consortium (co-
led by ARTTIC and Rolls-Royce Marine) made up of six recognised and
experienced key players from four different European Union (EU) member states.
The project was backed by the EU through the H2020 program.
Research Outcome: Journal Publication #1
