    C- Site Selection:

    Beirut has ever been the point of connection between the Arab and the western world,
    being in a very strategic spot directly on the Mediterranean sea, it has gained a high
    profile status in the world. The site of the project should be in a glamorous area, in
    the heart of Beirut; therefore I chose the downtown Biel area for the project.
    The reasons are that the marina area is still under construction, so the title of the
    thesis can quite fit there, architecture as an icon and this is what the Beirut fashion
    center will be: an architectural icon of the Beirut marina area.

    D- project’s program:

    The project is divided into three parts:


    A-fashion College
    B-media headquarters
    C-exhibitions and runways (containing the events halls, runways, lounges etc…)
    D- Public zone
    E- museum of Lebanese fashion

    And this is prone to change after the research I will be doing in order to know the
    needs of fashion in Lebanon.
