    Q: Where is the Microsoft Azure Virtual Training Day hosted?


    The Microsoft Azure Virtual Training Day: Fundamentals is an online event. After you register online,
    you will receive a confirmation email containing the log-in link that you will need to attend the
    virtual training.

    The log-in link will go live 15 minutes before the start of the virtual training.

    Q: How much will it cost to attend?


    The Microsoft Azure Virtual Training Day: Fundamentals is a free virtual event.

    Q: How will I know if I have been registered for this virtual training session?
    Check your inbox after you have registered. You will receive a confirmation email shortly after
    registration. If you do not receive the registration email, please check your junk/spam folder. If you
    cannot locate the confirmation, please email eventsau@microsoft.com

    Q: How will I get the discount to take the AZ-900 certification exam for free?
    If you attend all 4 modules in this virtual training, you will be eligible to receive the exam at a 100%
    discount (discount applies once only). The discount will be applied when you schedule the exam by
    entering the email address used to register for the event.

    Q: How can I schedule my AZ-900 certification exam for free?


    Once you have completed all 4 modules of this training, you are eligible to take AZ-900 certification
    exam at no cost. Follow the instructions below to schedule your exam:

    • 4-5 business days after the event has concluded click to view the exam details

    • Click the Schedule Exam button to begin the online registration process (select ‘Schedule
    with Pearson VUE’)
    • Sign in or create a Certification Profile
    • Navigate to the exam discounts page and enter the EMAIL you REGISTERED for the event
    with. You must link your account to receive discount.
    • You will see the $0 cost upon checkout of scheduling your exam

    Q: When can I schedule to take the exam for free?
    Please wait 4-5 business days after the event to schedule your exam. For issues with your exam
    redemption, please open a case with Certification Support

    Q. I missed a session in this virtual training. Will I still qualify for the discount?
    You must attend all 4 modules in the Microsoft Azure Virtual Training Day. If you miss a single
    module, you will not qualify to receive a discount to take the exam for free.

    However, you can undertake the Azure Fundamentals Learning Path on Microsoft Learn for the
    content that you missed to prepare for your exam and sign-up for the AZ-900 certification exam at
    your own cost.

    Q. Is there a deadline to redeem the discount to take the exam at no cost?


    Typically, the discount offer will expire 3 months after the event date. Due to COVID-19, we have
    extended the expiry date until 31 January 2021 for all discount offers that have a due date between
    26 March and 31 August 2020. View this blog post for more details.

    Q: Can I share this virtual training with my colleagues?


    Of course. Feel free to share the registration link to those who may be interested to attend. Please
    do not share direct links to view the virtual events, as these are unique to each registrant.

    Each attendee must have their own registration to receive the exam discount.

    Q. Will I be receiving a copy of the recording of this virtual session?


    No. Unfortunately, the recording is not available for this virtual session. However here are some
