Job Description:
HSSE Supervisor
December 2014 to October 2019
• Assist HSSE country manager with administrative support on a daily basis, which include but not limited
to: setting up meetings with various individuals, departments, and or third party companies. HSSE Data
entry, preparation, reproduction and distribution of safety related memo and documents to appropriate
individuals, departments, or third-party companies;
• Assist HSSE country manager with preparation of pre-mobilization deliverables / HSE requirements for
subcontractors during pre-qualification process;
• Ensure communication of company HSE Policy, applicable local and international legislative and
regulatory requirements, and various pertinent HSE information;
• Maintain safety data log and other safety tracking systems up to date;
• Prepare and Submit Monthly Safety Metrics Report and Quarterly Safety Statistics to RSHS Dubai which
covers the company’s kingdom wide operations to include Factory Operations, Field Operations, and
Camp Operations;
• Process various HSE related documents both for local & corporate distribution in various MS Office
format;
• Prepare, distribute toolbox topics and deliver various job specific safety trainings;
• Ensure components of HSE Management System is adhered upon and monitored thru the conduct of
audits and evaluation which promotes continuous improvements;
• Author of various instructional Guide Manual for Safety Related Documentation;
• Participate in revisions of various Job Hazard Analysis and Safe Work Method Statements to fit the
dynamic demands prior to project mobilization;
• OIC in the event the HSSE Country Manager is away or on vacation and responsible in overseeing the
daily duties and responsibilities of the department.
• Liaise for welfare provision for all site crew for both RSHS and Subcontractors (accommodation, daily pack lunch,
provision of potable water throughout the shift, Port-O-Let, waste disposal, and daily transport from
accommodation to site);
• On site activities include but are not limited to roll call, daily site safety walk, daily tool box meetings, daily and
weekly HSE reports tool inspections and continuous monitoring of all construction site activities, receives and
sends daily and weekly site and safety reports, assisted in securing work permits from client’s safety
department, participate in weekly meetings;
• Provides first aid treatment to injured person suffering from minor injuries, burns, cuts, bruises and
abrasions;
• Assesses & stabilizes conditions to improve vital functions of the patient utilizing good clinical
judgment which do not require physician’s evaluation according to establish emergency guidelines;
• Ensures proper care of casualties and establishes procedures to be followed in the event of serious
injuries such as a means of obtaining prompt medical and ambulant services.
• Administers and dispenses medications as appropriate from approved list of medications and with
proper instructions on how to take it;
• Identifies and plans clinical materials, supplies and equipment that are required and raises requisition
when needed while maintaining adequate level of stocks of approved supplies of medicines;
• Updates the monthly emergency medical reports and prepares and maintain monthly first aid report
including man hour lost, lost time accident, medicine consumptions, medicine stocks and medicine
requisition.
• Inspect hazardous conditions and call special meetings to resolve any concerns.
• Continuous monitoring of lifting, working at heights, hot works, and other activities deemed to pose higher risks;
• Identifies and plans safety-related materials, supplies and equipment that are required and raises
requisition when needed while maintaining good record keeping of requested items and initiate
necessary follow-ups for delay or pending requisitions;
• Distribution of PPEs in timely basis and for new employees while maintaining intact record keeping &
inventory;
• Participate in investigation of incidents/accidents (Major or Minor) that have taken place;
• Identify and provide prompt rectification of the occupational safety and health hazards;
• Conducts and Reports Monthly Fire Safety inspection to include periodic inspection of Fire Extinguishers, Fire
Hose Cabinets, Smoke Detectors and Alarms, Fire Exit Routes and Muster Points in accordance to company Fire
Safety Guidelines both in the Factory and Employee Accommodations;
• Prepared and delivered various job specific toolbox talks;
• Ensure all monitoring /reporting systems are in place and adhered to, ensuring the accurate daily progress
reporting and safety compliance statistics;
• Maintain updated Safety resource materials (SDS, JSAs, WMS, Toolbox Topics, Safety Forms and Permits, etc.)
• Assisting and promoting occupational health and safety awareness (Prepared various health and safety
awareness material every month thru Health and Safety Bulletin, Signages, posters, and communication letters).
