Assessment and Recording of Teacher Directed Task:

-The teacher will be assessing the objective which is to identify four shapes by their correct name (triangle, square, circle and star).
To assess this objective, the teacher will ask the questions outlined in the teacher directed centre plan and also observe their ability to
recall the name of the shape once they snap a pair during the activity.
-To record the assessment of the lesson objective, the teacher will have her assessment checklist on hand during the teacher directed
centre activity and record her responses or additional observations on it as well. The checklist will be specific to each of the shapes, so
then the teacher can recognise which students need more assistance in identifying a particular shape, or which shape all students
have not quite yet grasped. In addition to the checklist, the teacher can also video the duration of the teacher directed centre activity
and review it at a later date if required to make extra notes on student performance.
