OBJECTIVE To improve the instrument's readings by eliminating or reducing bias.


FREQUENCY Once in 2 months.

Testo 270 - Cooking Oil Tester.

Make sure the tester is always


clean

Reference oil

Check the acceptable TPM % along


with the acceptable range

Thermometer

Make sure the thermometer probe


is always clean

CALIBRATION PROCEDURE TESTO 270 COOKING OIL TESTER.

“Prior to calibrating the testo 270


cooking oil tester do heat the
reference oil using a water bath
(heated for 80℃ for 10 to 20 min)”

Gently clean Testo 270


cooking oil tester with a
tissue paper.

Switch on and immediately


press HOLD until the
display turns orange.

Press ↑ or ↓ button until


the menu switch to OIL and
CAL

Clean thermometer with a


tissue paper.

Remove the reference oil


bottle from the water bath
earlier and wipe the
surface.

Check the temperature of


the reference oil and make
sure it is approximately
50℃.

until the TPM value is
adjusted to acceptable
value.

Confirm the value by


pressing HOLD and
deactivate the ↑ or ↓ button
to deactivate from the
calibration mode.
