Looking back at the past 12 months in which super storms,
wildfires, disease outbreaks (Covid 19), and monster
earthquakes ,devastating floods, locust swarms, volcano eruptions, Lebanon blast and latest oil spill within the coastal region of Mauritius, have taken unimaginable tolls all over the planet, it’s easy to be overwhelmed by the scope of the problem. We feel that Mother nature is giving us a wakeup call,”Stop spoiling the nature which is not only the bread and butter for mankind, but also provides us an harmonious environment for us to cohabit with all the creatures on earth. The divine in its perpetual caring nature has fortunately provided some remedy for those calamities. We need to take cognizance of the fact that the five main elements i.e Earth, Water , Fire,Air, and ether (space) when in equilibrium would provide succour to all creatures on this planet earth. The Supreme has been benevolent in providing some positive energy with the movement of the planets . As per Date Panchang,a fiery of Tripicity 1-5-9 of Leo in Lagna,Sagitarius in the 5th house and Aries in the 9th house could be beneficial for us. In so far that the “Fire Element” is well positioned as from Tuesday the 4th August to Wednesday the 2nd of September 2020. Within this period, there is also some Murhut which would be more beneficial. The date and time for this is this coming Saturday the 22nd of August 2020 from 9.00pm to midnight. We believe that on the auspicious day of Ganesh Chathurti, it would be more than appropriate to favour the combination of the five elements. We do take note that the Maha Ganpati is made of clay which is a combination of earth and water. Ganapati is praised as “Jivanasya Gandhipah” –water fulfilling energy. The lord is also considered as the remover of obstacles. Given that that the “Fire Element” is ever present and forceful during this Murhut, doing a Maha Yadnya would create the proper equilibrium for the five elements (as Air and Ether are ever present), resulting in a divine atmosphere. In doing so we would pledge for the pacifying of Mother Nature ,so that our country and the world become a peaceful and enjoying place to live in. It is a belief within the Hindu Dharma, that we can balance the spiritual, human and environmental through ‘yadnya’, the holy offerings. Thus in the presence of Mah a Ganpati we shall implement a ‘real life’ practice a Yadnya, the holy sacrifice to preserve the environment. A practice that goes beyond just prayers. Thus, a simple act of gratitude to give back to nature is an important part of keeping the balance, both with the spiritual world and the tangible natural world.
So our humble request is let us contribute to the well being of
this nation and the world at large by having a Maha yadnya in the presence of Maha Ganpati on saturday the 22nd of August 2020 form 9.00pm to Midnight.
