1.0 OVERALL DESCRIPTION OF BUSINESS

Sweet Scarf Sdn Bhd is a private limited company which offer affordable, luxury and comfort
Bawal scarfs (Tudung Bawal) for every woman. Our goal is to provide custom made Bawal
scarft with different designs of diamonds.

Esteemed and exclusive sweet scarf presents custom made sprinkle diamond designs which
practically match any cloth wear. While our product quality is excellent with reasonable price,
our marketing strategy focuses on the service to our customers of our product.

2.0 COMPANY BACKGROUND

Sweet Scarf Sdn Bhd is formed as Private Limited Company which is located in
Manjung, Perak. Sweet Scarf has started the operation on the 1st January 2018. We
choose the date because it is the suitable date as we planned from last 6 months. Below
are the details about the company:

VISSION
Sweet Scarf Sdn Bhd aims to always be the customers’ first choice especially
among all Muslims.

MISSION
Sweet Scarf Sdn Bhd wish to be a market leader in the distribution of hijab in
Malaysia within five years and in Asia for the within 10 years.

OBJECTIVES
i. To provide various design custom made sprinkle diamond which meet customers’
requirement.
ii. To provide the best service to customers.

The material of the Bawal Scarf is cotton fabric which is a brand of Airis Premium. The
cotton fabric does not cause irritation rather it is a breathable fabric which cools the skin.
Probably for this reason, scarves made of 100% cotton yarn are good for those who
experience hot flashes during summer. The cotton fabric avoids dust and grime from
entering body. It also keeps the head safe from summer heat. Silk and satin scarves are
very soft and slippery in nature. Girls wearing a silk or satin scarf have to adjust their
scarves every time they slip off from their heads. But cotton sticks to the head and
provided uninterrupted protection from sun, air and moisture.

Bawal scarfs of Sweet Scarf are available in various types of colours such as milo beige,
purple pink, dark royal blue and etc.

As mentioned in company’s objectives, we provide various types of Bawal scarfs’ design to the
customers. Customers will choose their favorites colours and choose which design they likes.
They also can choose the colours of the diamond which are black, white or colourful diamond.

Steam press machine is used to attach the diamond on the Bawal scarf. Before using the steam
press iron, it is need to be prepared according to suitable temperature. Put the scarf on the steam
press iron and arranged the diamonds on the scarf based on customers’ design and set it.

TARGET MARKET

4.1 Teenagers

The location our business is near with two Universities such as University Technology Mara
(UITM), University Technology Petronas (UTP). Secondly, the location our business is near
with shopping malls which are D Mall Billion Bandar Sri Iskandar and Tesco.

Nowadays, more teens wearing diamond based scarfs. So, it will be easier for us in
promoting and selling many types of Sweet Scarf that we have anytime.

4.2 Residential Area

Currently, wearing Sweet Scarf is being a trend among Muslim. Our focus is to provide the
new design with new styles of Sweet Scarf for people in this area to fulfill their needs as a
Muslim. Moreover, the area is strategic and near to residential area.

4.0 SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORM

Instagram has turned into a must-have social media strategy for new marketers. Moreover,
younger audiences continue to seek Instagram for brand interactions, engagement and
personality. An investigation carried out shows that 51% of millennials enjoy brand personality
on Instagram.

Our company chose Instagram as platform to market our product since, Instagram has the highest
consumer seek for products.

7.0 SUGGESTION

1. Hashtags

The strategies used in creating hashtags:

 We used popular hashtags that have the best chance for the consumers to search for. For
instance, #love
 Less popular hashtags yet highly-relevant ones are used. These may drive fewer users to
your posts, but the ones who did find us will be more targeted.

2.Being part of the Instagram community

There are many ways used to be part of the Instagram community. The ways are as follows:

 Like consumer’s pictures


 Commenting positive words on consumers’ pictures
 Share images and videos of business which could help the followers to feel like it’s not a
fake account

3.Image Posting Frequency

 Posting business images frequently could drive the consumers’ attention towards our
product

4. Use of simple and multi languages

 We used simple language that could be understand by everyone this is because some of
the followers may not come from well-educated background.
 Technical terms are not used in promoting our products.
 Using multi languages could attract consumers from other countries as well since this
product has high demand from foreign countries.

8.0 CONCLUSION

In conclusion, E-business is a trend now where sellers using online platform to sell their
products. E-business are actually advantageous compare to normal business. E-business does not
need a worker or a shop or a license to operate. It just need Internet and a social media platform
to promote the products. It actually saves time, money and energy compare to normal business.
The only negative of E-business is earning the trust from customers. Most of people are scared of
E-business because of online scams, frauds and etc. If trust is earned from the customers and
people, that specific E-business would be able to achieve the goals.

we hope our business will be leading into a successful business according to our business plan.
As we mentioned, our target market are teenagers or university students, housewife and Muslim
women. Nowadays, women are mostly active in Instagram by posting pictures and viewing
cheap materials in the social media platform. That’s the reason we chose to promote or
marketing using Instagram profile. We hope our targets are met, vision and mission are achieved
with our marketing strategy.
