DIVINE RECOVERY PROTOCOLS (DRP) - 1

Loss is a part of life and an inevitable function of time.

Every portion of time holds a portion of our life and so when we
experience losses, we experience unfulfillment.

Ecclesiastes 3:1
"To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under
the heaven"

In the Kingdom of God, recovery is a divine intervention of God

that can be accessed by anyone in Christ.

2Corinthians 9:8
"And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye,
always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good
work"

To recover also means to redeem as well as to restore.

God is a God of recovery; He creates systems by which things
can be restored to an original position and function.

CAUSES OF LOSSES

1. Insufficiency of Being & Knowledge

2Corinthians 3:5
“Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think anything as of
ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God”

2Corinthians12:9
"And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my
strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I
rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon
me"

2. Inability in Competence and Skill

Philippians 4:13
"I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me"
3. Accidents

Ecclesiastes 9:12
"For man also knoweth not his time: as the fishes that are taken in
an evil net, and as the birds that are caught in the snare; so are the
sons of men snared in an evil time, when it falleth suddenly upon
them"

4. Demonic Programming

Matthew 6:34
"Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall
take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the
evil thereof"

TYPES OF LOSSES

1. Loss of Time

Ephesians 5:16
"Redeeming the time, because the days are evil"

Joel 2:25
"And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the
cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great
army which I sent among you"

2. Loss of Relationships / Loved Ones

2Samuel 9:7-9
"And David said unto him, Fear not: for I will surely shew thee
kindness for Jonathan thy father's sake, and will restore thee all the
land of Saul thy father; and thou shalt eat bread at my table
continually.
And he bowed himself, and said, What is thy servant, that thou
shouldest look upon such a dead dog as I am?
Then the king called to Ziba, Saul's servant, and said unto him, I
have given unto thy master's son all that pertained to Saul and to all
his house."
3. Loss of Opportunities

Ecclesiastes 9:11
"I returned, and saw under the sun, that the race is not to the swift,
nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet
riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but
time and chance happeneth to them all."

4. Loss of Resources.

Nehemiah 5:5
"Yet now our flesh is as the flesh of our brethren, our children as
their children: and, lo, we bring into bondage our sons and our
daughters to be servants, and some of our daughters are brought
unto bondage already: neither is it in our power to redeem them; for
other men have our lands and vineyards."

5. Loss of Placement

Act 1:20
"For it is written in the book of Psalms, Let his habitation be
desolate, and let no man dwell therein: and his bishoprick let
another take."

THE IMPACTS OF LOSSES

1. Destiny Delays

Hebrews 10:7
"Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of
me,) to do thy will, O God."

2Timothy 4:7
"I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept
the faith"

2. Misdirection

Proverbs 2:11-13
"Discretion shall preserve thee, understanding shall keep thee:
To deliver thee from the way of the evil man, from the man that
speaketh froward things; Who leave the paths of uprightness, to
walk in the ways of darkness"

3. Vulnerability - Faith & Character Failure

Luke 22:31-32
"And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to
have you, that he may sift you as wheat:
But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art
converted, strengthen thy brethren"

Hebrews 12:15
"Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any
root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be
defiled"
