To meet the huge food grain requirement by the year 2050, there is urgent need to
technology based farming system. Precision Farming aims to a technology based farm
management system to identify, analyze and manage variability within agricultural farm for
optimum productivity, sustainability, reducing input cost with minimizing the environmental
impact of farming. New technologies, such as Global Positioning Systems (GPS), sensors,
satellites or aerial images, and Geographical Information Systems (GIS) are utilized to assess
and analyze variations in agricultural production. In recent trend, an Artificial Intelligence (AI)
and Robot based agriculture farming system getting popular in various part of world to
minimize the gap between demand and production. This webinar welcomes all stakeholders,
interested participant to be familiar with recent and modern trends in precision agriculture.
