In this evidence you are going to read an article about the way people around
the world spend their vacations. Then you have to do a description about the
way people spend their vacations in your country and answer the questions. /

Vacations around the world
Vacation time is a very important part in the life of all people in the world.
People from different cultures spend their vacations in different ways. The
number of vacation days ranges from 10 to 30, being the Europeans such as
Germans, French and Swede the luckiest for having 30 days of vacations; the
Latin American countries with a big number of vacation days are Brazil,
Panama and Peru with 25 days. The unluckiest country is China having just 10
days and being vacations not mandatory. Taking into account this aspect,
people can decide what to do and how to enjoy their vacations. Let’s see what
people from Germany, Brazil and China say about their future vacations.
What are you going to do in your next vacations?

I want to visit some friends all along
Europe. First, I’m going to France to
visit my friend Jan Pierre in Lion, I’m
staying for a couple of weeks there.
Then I would like to go to Italy to visit
my cousin Florentina, I’m going to
Venice with her. Finally, I want to go

girlfriend there and we are meeting

1. Which aspects do you think play an important role in deciding what to do

on vacations?
I think the most important aspects of traveling are the budget and
wearing enough clothes and sunscreen because if we carry enough
money, we can enjoy the trip more.
2. What do people like to do the most on their vacations?
I think that what people like to do the most on vacation is visit different
countries, eat as a family and of course visit their friends who live far
away.
3. Which plan do you like the most and why?
The plan I like the most is Lauren Freudberger's because it's fun and she
travels to more places than the others.
C. Write a short paragraph about how is the vacation time in your country.
Include information such as the typical number of days a person gets for
vacations, the most common activities people do, and the famous places
people visit. / Escriba un párrafo corto acerca de cómo son las vacaciones
en su país. Incluya información como el número típico de días que una
persona tiene para vacaciones, las actividades más comunes que las
personas hacen, y los sitios famosos que la gente visita.
Vacations in my country
When the vacation season comes to Colombia, we are all happy, because we
rest from the routine of each day. Normally holidays correspond to 15 days,
they can be in June or December. On the other hand, Colombians on vacation
do different activities that are very fun. For example, we go to towns where it is
very hot and there is a swimming pool, we also visit churches, main parks, climb
mountains, do extreme sports, among other activities. People in Colombia
usually visit the towns, because generally our grandparents are there. We visit
the river, the creek, water parks and many other places. Cities like Cartagena or
Medellin are usually visited on vacation but I haven't been there yet. I think that
vacations in Colombia are very nice because most of the people share with the
family.
When you finish your work, send the file to your instructor through the platform
as follows:
1. Click the Activity 1 button on the main menu and then Evidence: Vacations
around the world.
2. Click the "See Evidence" button.
3. Attach the file which must be previously saved on the computer.
4. Leave a comment to the instructor (optional).
