ZOOM (for teacher)

Install software
ZOOM on your
PC. To use some
functions, you
have to change
your setting.
To change it, click
setting icon under
profile. You will
see a box and
click “View More
Settings”.
These are the ones you must “on”. To use Breakout Room
To make sure students do not to speak during class time without
teachers’ knowing. CHAT
When you have assistant teacher, you have to make him/her co-host.
When you want to create poll, …..
If you want to get notification when participants in and out, …..
If you want to share files (doc, pdf, ppt, photo, etc.) in chat, …..
If you want to control who join your meeting, …..
If your name is not
your real name,
change your name.
There are 3 ways to
change the name.

Method 1 : Click
“Join” and you can
change your name.
Method 2 : You will
see your profile on
the right top, click
that and choose
“My Profile”. You
can change there.
Method 3 : When
you are in a
meeting, click
“More” on your
name, then
choose “Rename”.
(You can change
your profile
picture in these
methods too)
If you want to schedule
for your class, you have
to prepare timetable
ahead.
Choose “Schedule” and
you can arrange the
setting there. If you
want to use for more
than once, click
“Recurring meeting”
and arrange it. Make
sure time zone is
“Rangoon or
Myanmar”.
Note 1 : You can choose your own Personal ID or automatic one. You
can choose your own password, too. (Will be better if password is easy
to memorize)

Note 2 : You can arrange formal style meeting and invite from Gmail.

- Click setting icon under your profile.


- You will see a box and click “View More Settings” at the bottom of the
box.
- Then you can arrange for the meeting and send invitation formally.
Now you are in
the meeting. You
can click
microphone icon
to mute/unmute.
Click video to
start/stop. Click
participants to
know who are in
your room.
Click chat if you
want to say
something or check
the messages from
students.
Note : You can
choose “Everyone”
or “student’s
name”. Choose
“File” to send the
doc, pdf, photo, etc.
If you want to
mute/unmute to all
the students, click
“Participants” and
you will see the
button at the bottom
of participants box.
Note : You can give
permission to
mute/unmute by
themselves you
want.
If you want to share screen
or files on your PC, click
“Share Screen” with green
arrow. You will see a box
and choose “Screen” in
Basic and click “share” at
the bottom of the box on
the right.

Note : If you want to share


videos, tick “share
computer sound” at the
bottom of the screen on
the left.
To use whiteboard,
choose
“whiteboard” in
Basic. You can
choose the
functions you want
to use.

Note : You can give


control to students
to write on
whiteboard.
If you want to share only audio, click “Share Screen” and go to
“Advance”, then choose “Music or Computer Sound Only”.
For group activity,
you have to use
Breakout Rooms.
You can choose the
participants by
yourself (Manually)
or (Automatically).
Then, click “Create
Rooms”.
You can choose the settings that you want from “Options”. If you are
ready, click “Open All Rooms”.
You can join the rooms that you want, can exchange or move students
to another group here.
If you want to give the instructions to all the groups, click “Broadcast a
message to all”, type your instruction and click “share”.
If you want to finish the group activity, click “Close All Rooms”.
You can change your student’s setting from their videos. Click 3 dots on
the top right of the videos.
Notes for co-host

- Can admit the participants to join the meeting.

- Make mute/unmute and lower hands to participants.

- Can’t create group from breakout room but can join all the
groups and check the students.
