INTRODUCTION
The Establishment
SAZMA Aviation Sdn. Bhd. was established in 2013 in the cooperation between Sabah
Air Aviation Sdn. Bhd. Holding 60% And UZMA Teras Sdn. Bhd. Holding 40% of shares.
The Location
The location of headquarters is in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah with facilities of Offices, Flight
Operation facilities, Ground handling facilities, Aircraft Engineering services and Hangar
facilities.

Value Creation
SAZMA Aviation value the Local content as of today, 100% Malaysian workforce for
aviation Oil & Gas Industry with majority Sabahan with 0% of foreigner.
The company also backed by the Sabah State Government to ensure its stability in
financially and operationally.
More local Sabah company to be involved in high impact upstream activity for oil and
gas industry especially aviation sector.
The aim of SAZMA Aviation Sdn. Bhd. is to open more job opportunity in Sabah especially
for aviation industry to produce local competency for future development of locals in
the industry.
Approval & Licenses
SAZMA Aviation Sdn. Bhd. Granted its Air Service Permit and its Air Operator Service in
2014 by the Civil Aviation Authority Malaysia or previously known as the Malaysia
Department of Civil Aviation. In 2015, SAZMA Aviation Sdn. Bhd. was granted with its
Aircraft Maintenance Organization enabling the company to maintain its aircraft.
The Fleet
Currently, SAZMA Aviation Operates two unit of Sikorsky S-76C++ helicopter with
numbers of qualified pilot and engineer. The fleets is in Kota Kinabalu International
Airport, Sabah with Malaysia registration of 9M-SBO and 9M-SBA. The management of
the company is also continuously participating in the new generation aircraft for the
future operation in Sabah Waters.
