    Note: If the Department Post Graduate Committee (DPC) committee is of the opinion
    that a student is required to work further to achieve the stated objectives and incorporate
    some additional work, an extension based on the work is given to the student to
    complete the work and the student is required to re-submit the dissertation and a
    presentation is to be given to DPC. The DPC will take a final decision on whether to
    schedule the final exam or give additional extension of the work.
