Class & Students History

This is an English Language class. There are 12 students in my class, but 10 of them are showing up in the class
regularly. They are studying ALC book No. 02. This book will last for two weeks and after two weeks, they are going
to have their final book quiz. The overall level of the students in this class is Beginner, and they take this book to
improve their English language skills. My students show up in three sessions in a day, and every session lasts for 90
minutes. My overall goal in this class is to help my students to improve their English Language skills.
Lesson Aims: Main Aim: By the end of the session the Ss will have recognized 10 words that describe family tree through reading
Should be based on short biographies and dialogues.
SMARTA Sub-aims: the Ss will have used the new words correctly in sentences, and understood their meaning in the text.

Teacher’s Aim: To manage time for each activity.


To shift smoothly from one stage to another.
Materials / Aids: Video/Picture/HO1/HO2/HO3
Anticipated problems & Problem: Most Ss struggle with using words in a sentence because they lack the ability to disseminate the part of
possible solutions: speech for a word, or because a word has multiple definitions.
Solution: Offer them a mobile dictionary.
