Description Features
The DCT10 supports two inputs simultaneously (reed switch & • 2-zone capabilities where each zone is independent and has its own
universal transmitter input*). serial number: Zone 1 - one of two high-sensitivity reed switches
(magnet included), Zone 2 - universal transmitter input* (N.O./N.C.)
The DCT10 transmits two different serial numbers (SN), one for
each input, which are always SN and SN+1 (i.e., 240 000 & 240 001). • Wireless range in a typical residential environment:
- 70m (230ft) with MG5000, MG5050 and RTX3
A switch or other security device can be connected to the • Low battery and signal transmission LED
universal transmitter input terminals to provide wireless
• Available in 433MHz or 868MHz
transmission of the device's open/closed status.
• Dual anti-tamper switch
• Dimensions: 12.4 cm x 4.5 cm x 3.3 cm (4.9 in x 1.8 in x 1.3 in)

Location & Mounting Testing the Unit

4) Open and close the assigned door/window to verify proper
operation.

WARNINGS:
• Do not connect an EOL resistor to the universal transmitter input.
• Do not cut, bend or alter the antenna. Avoid mounting the door contact near or on metal as this may affect transmission.
• After changing the jumper settings, press and hold the anti-tamper switch for two seconds in order to save the changes.
* IMPORTANT: Cables not connected to the Universal input must be less than 3m long.

Dual Anti-Tamper
The DCT10 offers dual anti-tamper protection against the opening of the unit’s cover or the removal of the unit from the mounting location.
Secure the anti-tamper pin to the wall using the supplied screw. In the case where the unit is forcibly removed, the anti-tamper pin breaks away
from the rest of the unit, triggering a tamper alarm. If the unit is installed on a drywall surface, use a drywall anchor to secure the anti-tamper pin.

Powering the unit

Verify proper polarity and insert two alkaline “AAA” batteries. After inserting batteries, a power up sequence will begin (10-20 seconds) during
which the door contact will not detect an open zone or tamper.

Low Battery
The DCT10 performs a battery test every 12 hours. If the voltage is below 2.3V after four consecutive battery tests (48 hrs.), the red LED will flash at
5 second intervals and the DCT10 will transmit a low battery signal.

Battery Replacement
To replace batteries:

1) Replace the old batteries with new ones.

2) Press and release the anti-tamper switch several times.
3) Wait 60 seconds to re-initialize the unit.
