Think about your future. What plans do you have in mind? How do you want your
life to be in the future? Write a composition about your future in which you answer
the following questions:
• Where you would like to live? I like living in Medellín, it is a very good city,
with many opportunities.
• What would you like to study? I always liked medicine.
• Where would you like to work? I would like to work where the opportunity
presents itself, a stable and pleasant environment.
• Would you like to get married and have a family? Why? Why not? Of course I am,
at this moment I form a family, my child is four months old, his father, he and I are
very happy.
• What hobbies and free time activities would you like to do? I like spending time
with my baby and my partner, we like to watch movies, eat and go for a walk.
• What places would you like to visit when you go on vacation? I would like to go to
India, I like its dances and cultures.

Example:
My future life
I would like to live in a smaller city near the beach, like Santa Marta. I really
like swimming in the ocean and enjoying hot weather. Though Bogota is a
nice city full of opportunities, but I am tired of contamination and stress. It
would be a good change.
After I finish at SENA, I would like to continue studying. I want to be a

psychologist, so I want to study psychology at Nacional University because
they have the best Psychology programs in Colombia. I have a friend who
studied there and he was quite happy with the university.
I would like to work for Google. They say it is the best company in the world.
Employees don’t have to wear a tie and they can play video games and
relax when they feel tired. That would be quite the opposite of my current
job, where I have to wear an uniform and deal with stress all day.
I don’t think I would like to have a family. Instead I would love to be alone, at
least in the near future. I could consider the possibility of a family later on,
after having enjoyed life for some years.
One thing I would really like to practice is swimming. I really love swimming.
Unfortunately I cannot practice now because my free time is quite limited.
However, after I finish at SENA, I may have some extra free time which I can
occupy swimming.
Would you like to get married and have a family? Why / why not?
I wouldn’t like to get married. I would like to be single forever, so I can go to

parties and enjoy with my friends. Maybe one day in the far future I will have
a family. But in the near future, I want to be single.
Description:
I like living in Medellín, it seems to me a quiet city

with good job offers, its streets are very beautiful,
the people are very friendly, I consider it to be very
large, it has many places to visit and share with
family and friends. I always wanted to study
medicine, due to the time and the economy I could
not do it, but I admire the people who make up the
health area even more in a time of pandemic that
is extremely difficult. At this moment my family is
made up of three people, my son, my partner and
I, we are very happy, the great blessing of having
my baby in perfect health is very important, at
some point I would like to get married. in our free
time we like to have fun, play games, eat, learn
about new things and watch movies.
