Packages & Fee Structure 2018-2019

All fees, payable in Pak Rupees, for the academic year September 2018 to August 2019 are given below.
All new enrolled students must pay the following applicable charges;

1. A one-time school registration PKR 80,000.

2. A one-time after school care registration PKR 40,000.
3. Annual Charges for Academics & Learning Equipment PKR 29,500.
4. Annual Events & Field Trips PKR 13,500. (Charged as per event schedule near time only.)
5. Security Fee (equal to basic monthly fee as per package & will only be refundable upon completion of
one year/term)
6. Basic Monthly Fee as per opted packages listed below. Please see payment plans for more.
7. Meal Charges (optional).

Daycare and Drop-in Packages:

Daycare services are available throughout the year with the exception of gazetted public holidays and Eid.
TLC will be in compliance with both the Government and PEIRA (Private Educational Institutions Regulatory
Authority) in case of holidays announced due to security reasons.

Preschool Packages:

Preschool services are available according to the TLC annual preschool calendar, September to May. Vacations
are applicable. Daycare services (for package E only) available Mondays to Fridays throughout the year with
the exception of gazetted public holidays, security holidays and Eid. Summer camp is free of extra cost to
children availing packages E & F only. Summer Camp charges are applicable to Package D other than full
academic fees.

Tuition and Fee Agreement TLC daycare/preschool/activity club 2018-2019
Parents/Guardians are requested to fully acquaint themselves with the packages & fee structure and to
thoroughly read through the rules and regulations.

1) Mode of Payment: - Invoices will be generated only by the TLC Finance Department at the Parent
Campus. All payments can be made at any HBL Branch. Payments can only be made at any of TLC
campuses if it is a cross cheque. TLC DOES NOT ACCEPT ANY CASH TRANSACTION IN SCHOOL.
a. Payment will not be considered as “Paid” without a proper invoice from a school & parents are
requested to keep the “Parent’s copy” safe with them after making a payment.

2) New Enrollments:- The following charges are included while enrolling for the first time at TLC:
a) A one-time registration fee (nonrefundable) See sibling discount on registration.
b) A security deposit according to the monthly fee package is applicable. Security will not be refunded if
the child’s stay is less than one year at the facility. A one month’s written advance notice must be given
to the school for withdrawal and a full academic fees (Sep-Aug) paid before security will be reimbursed.
c) Annual Charges (per annum) irrespective of your month of joining (nonrefundable).
d) Form charges of PKR 1000 and Uniform charges of PKR 3500.

3) Payment Schedule and Procedure:- Fee is calculated over the year and charged in monthly, bi-
monthly or trimester plans for daycare/preschool/elementary school services. The following rules apply:
a) Monthly dues are paid for the full month irrespective of the date of joining in that month.
b) Fees are payable in advance. In view of the constant inflationary pressures, the fees are subject to
review in July to take effect from September same year.
c) Fee must be paid by the due date.
d) Failing in that can lead students to lose their registration & parents must have to re-register their child
to continue with TLC.
e) Tuition is due on the 1st of every month and is considered past due at the end of the 3rdt day of the
month. PKR 250 per day is charged as a penalty if full payment is not made.
f) Late payment charges will not be waived nor reduced.
g) The parents must undertake to pay the full academic term for every child.
h) Fee once paid will not be refunded.
i) All parents and guardians responsible for guaranteeing payment of school dues will read and sign an
undertaking for compliance with the school’s policies. TLC reserves the right to revise and make
alterations to its policies at any point in time. However, it is the school’s policy to give appropriate
advance notice for effectiveness of any changes.
j) Payment Plan should be confirmed before beginning of new school year. Change of payment plan
during school year, will not be permitted.
k) 10% discount would be given on full annual payment in one invoice.
l) Basic/single monthly fee requests will only be entertained after receiving the written guarantee from
the parents stating they will be responsible to clear the dues during June – Aug period.

4) Registration:
a. Daycare services: Once registered, a child can avail daycare and after school services even
after they withdraw from TLC at the charges applicable to registered students. This offer is
valid for the daycare and after school packages only and subject to availability.
b. Preschool services: Once the child withdraws from TLC, the registration will no longer be
applicable for preschool and the child will have to be registered again if the family wishes to
resume TLC preschool services.
c. Discount: A sibling discount of 25% is offered on the registration fee for the first sibling and
20% for the second sibling. There is no discount applicable on monthly or on any other fees.
5) Withdrawal & Discharge Policy:- Please note that withdrawal prior to the end of the school year
impacts the mission of TLC and our ability to plan financially. Hiring and classroom space decisions are
based on enrollment. For this reason, we cannot forfeit all fees.
a. Daycare: Should it become necessary for you to withdraw your child from TLC daycare services
for any reason, a written notice must be given to the management no later than the 3rd business
day of the month which will be your child’s last month. You will be required to complete
payment for the quarter started. If the duration of stay of the child is over a year, your security
deposit will be adjusted to pay for the last month of your payment period. After the one month
notice of withdrawal has been submitted and payment has been made for the quarter and your
child continues to attend TLC for any additional portion of a month in a new payable period,
you are responsible for paying the full fee for that month.
b. Preschool / Elementary + Daycare: TLC has limited student spaces. If, for any reason, a
child is withdrawn from the preschool once placement has been accepted, the family is obliged
to compensate the preschool for the full year’s tuition. A child enrolled is expected to attend
through to the end of the school year and parents should fully understand the annual financial
obligation; tuition fees for the balance of the school year in which the voluntary withdrawal of
a child is effective are payable in their entirety. Written notice of intention to withdraw a student
from the preschool is required to be submitted by the parents/guardians to the management
with at least a one month notice. School Leaving Certificates will only be issued upon payment
of dues. Adjustment of fees may be considered in special circumstances at the discretion of the
Director however, payment of the trimester started, regardless of whether payments are made
on a monthly, bimonthly or quarterly basis, is non-negotiable.
c. The following are conditions that will cause your child’s participation in the program to be
terminated:
i. Failure to pay fees within three days of the due date.
ii. Consistent late pick up of your child. (Please read the late pick up policy below)
iii. Unresolved disagreements with parents over policies.
iv. Failure to provide the required enrollment forms.
6) Meal Plans:- If the enrolled child is on a TLC meal plan, payment of the same will be made on the
same schedule as the tuition/service fee. Meal payments will not be adjusted for any vacation period.
Monthly fee charges include breakfast, snack, lunch and evening snack. If the child requires meals at
particular times only, they will be charged at PKR 2200 per choice of meal per month.

7) Field Trips and Annual Events:– Field Trips and Annual Events which include one field trip per
quarter, Sports Day, Parents Day and Graduation Day are now charged annually and are included in
our annual charges. Infants are charged on participation only.

8) Change of Package:- If you wish to change your child’s package or payment schedule, contact the
Campus Coordinators two weeks in advance before the start of the next quarter/trimester payment
period. All changes will be contingent on the available openings in each classroom and at the discretion
of the management.

9) Holidays / Off Days:- TLC will be closed on all national, religious and gazetted holidays. However,
Eid and Muharram holidays will be subject to sighting of the moon. Kindly note that holidays are marked
on your TLC calendar. TLC preschool is closed as per the annual holiday schedule. TLC daycare services
are however available throughout the year. We are also closed on staff professional development days.
We may also be closed due to bad weather conditions and/ or security reasons. Each child’s
tuition/service fee remains the same, regardless of TLC’s planned or emergency closures.

10) Late Pick-ups: - Children should not arrive at school before their scheduled time. Prior to this time
staff are unavailable to supervise children. It is equally important that children be picked up on time.
Parents/Guardians should plan to arrive at least 10 minutes before their child’s scheduled pick-up time
 (i.e. 12:30, 2:00, or 5:00). Leaving a 10-minute pick-up window will allow parents/guardians enough
time to gather the child’s belongings, and be out of the campus by the scheduled ending time. A grace
period of 15 minutes will be given to cater for traffic or other factors but beyond that a Late Pick Up
fine of PKR 100 will be levied for every 15-minute increment past the scheduled pick-up time. Late pick-
up fines are assessed on a frequency basis and a written warning is issued after three consecutive late
pick-ups. In extreme or emergency situations, the late fine assessments will be evaluated on a case by
case basis

11) Parent Policy Note:– By signing the declaration below parents/guardians also acknowledge that
they have received and signed a copy of the policy note, which includes additional rules and policies
regarding the school’s operation and relationships with TLC families. Parents/Guardians agree to read
and follow both the rules and policies in this document and in the policy note. The parent policy note
is incorporated by reference in this document.

12) Amendments:-The school management reserves the right to terminate and admission of any student
without ascribing any reason what so ever. There will be no reimbursements of any fees or dues paid
except the security deposit. School management reserves the right to amend the text of its policies,
rules and regulations as and when deemed necessary in future. Changes are conveyed to parents and
students through notices and PTM’s and whether fresh signatures are obtained or not it is the
responsibility of every parent and guardian to stay abreast with these changes by inquiring from the
school office and that no appeal shall lie against it. In an event of a legal action related to any of the
TLC policies the legal costs of both parties will be borne by the parents or legal guardians.

13) Security Refund:- The security will be adjusted in the last invoice you pay before leaving school &
will only be applicable if you had paid for the full school year. Also this is applicable after the
management has received the withdrawal request 30 days prior to the last day at school. Failing to
inform in time will result in NO SECURITY REFUND.

period charged over the year). A written application with justification is required to entertain any request for
the monthly or bi-monthly payment plan and any such request will be entertained at the discretion of the

continue to do so according to the schedule provided below.
