The key takeaways are the steps to crochet a koala toy from the bottom up starting with the legs and finishing with the head.

The steps to crochet the legs are to make 6 single crochets in a magic ring for the first round, then increase in every stitch in the second round and single crochet around for rounds 3-14 before fastening off.

The steps to crochet the body are to make the second leg the same as the first, then chain 10 stitches and join the legs together by single crocheting around both legs and the chain. Then single crochet around to build the body shape.
