Industrial and Organisational Psychology
Industrial and organisational psychology does play important role for a country’s and
individual’s economic state. Colman (2015) has mentioned that the outcome where the
problems that arise in industrial and non-industrial organisations are studied through the basic
or applied researched by monitoring the worker’s well-being and efficiency, is called as industrial
and organisational psychology. The analytical skills and knowledge in industrial and
organisational psychology is very crucial. In order to find new business opportunities, analysing
business problems, the skill to use logical and scientific approach by a manager is called as
analytical skill (van Aswegen et al., 2008). The recruitment process comes by in differs in
every organisation and industry. In my company, the job advertisement recruiting method is
being used for recruitment. The source of recruitment is external source where it helps to bring
in fresh talent, widen choice of applicant to hire, and promote healthy competition. There is
some other appropriate source of recruitment can be use which is modern source, Applicant
Tracking System (ATS).
