Platina stands for a lighting concept inspired by and
simulating daylight. Using the principle of an enclosed lighting
chamber, rooms are immersed in bright light, naturally,
unobtrusively and pleasantly. This outstanding concept of
diffused lighting coupled with brightness management will
now revolutionize lighting in modern workspaces.

While designing Platina, the designer’s objective was to maintain

the lighting quality, and yet blend the design to harmonize with
interior architecture. The components in the product were kept to
absolute essentials, resulting in a luminaire, which integrates well
in the ceiling and creates a visual harmony, while at the same time
attaining minimalism in design.

NO DISCOMFORT GLARE
The wrong kind of light can be both unpleasant and distracting,
whether a harsh overhead light casting shadows or an annoying glare
flashing off a computer screen. Three dimensional distribution
controls light at high angles and eliminates direct as well as computer
glare. In addition, overhead glare is minimized since the diffuser
provides excellent lamp shielding and uniformly washes the reflectors,
creating a comfortable, even distribution of light.
