    EMPLOYEE SALECTION CRITERIA

    AMIT ENTERPRISES follows the employee selection as per Contractor’s Safety


    Management System (CSMS) and criterion as mentioned below:

    Category A - Higher risk work

    Qualification:
    Minimum qualification required for supervisor is Degree/Diploma in engineering
    or science and Minimum of 2 years working experience at the shop floor/working
    site.

    Category B - Lower risk work

    Qualification:
    Minimum qualification required for supervisor is 10 th standard and Minimum of 3
    years working experience at the shop floor/working site.

    “Site Safety Supervisor” will be deputed at all Higher Risk jobs. It is not required
    for Low risk jobs but contractors supervisors will be trained and considered as site
    safety supervisors also.

    Qualifications & Training procedure for Site Safety Supervisor:


    Minimum qualification required for site safety supervisor is Matriculation (10 th
    pass) with Minimum 03 years working experience at shop floor/working site. He
    shall be trained on site safety supervisor’s module from NTTF, approved by Tata
    Steel Ltd.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATION AS PER DESIGNATION WISE

    1. Job Supervisor/Manager – Graduation + 05 years working experience or


    Diploma in Engg. + 0 to 02 year working experience or B.Tech (Engg.) + 0 to 02
    year working experience

    2. Safety Supervisor - 12th Pass + 02 Year working experience or one month


    safety training pass from NTTF or seven day safety training pass from NTTF or
    Diploma in safety from any institution
    3. Safety Officer or Manager - B.Sc. /B.E/B. Tech/Diploma Engg.+ Diploma in
    industrial safety from recognized institute (DGFASLI/CLI/RLI/AICTE/SCVTE,
    NEBOSH)

    4. Skilled employees Welder, fitter, gas cutter, driver& operators, grinder, driver,
    flag man, rigger, sarang etc. should have competency certificate/

    5. Semi-Skilled employees Welder, fitter, gas cutter, driver & operators, grinder,
    driver, rigger, sarang etc. Experience with competency certificate.

    6. Un-Skilled employees: - Non Technical or Helper, Mazdoor etc.
