Power Command™ Economy or Power Command 50kph


Available on TM175 and TM190 models, Power Command™
transmission features 18 forward and 6 reverse speeds
as standard. An additional high ratio 19th transport speed
is added where Economy 40kph or direct drive 50kph
(where permissible) can be specified. This additional speed
is more than just an extra ratio. It features a separate clutch
and direct drive to the rear axle for optimum efficiency.
A higher transport speed can be achieved at lower engine revs
without compromising the ratios offered in the working ranges.

Engine Power Management


Specifically made for agriculture, New Holland PowerStar™ engines
power all TM tractors. TM175 and TM190 models also benefit from
Engine Power Management. This advanced system is designed
to maintain constant engine performance as loads change
and enables the rated power output to be increased by up
to 35hp(CV) [26kW] in transport and PTO applications.

Advanced seat to suit everyone


Series TM tractors are fitted with an air
suspension seat that easily accommodates
different operator weights. For optimum
comfort, a Deluxe seat is available on all
models. This advanced seat incorporates
12 separate adjustments and can even be
specified with cushion heating.
Off centre positioning with movement
setting means that the operator retains
the benefit of full back support, even when
looking over rear implements. This is of
particular benefit when ploughing.
Comfort Ride™ Cab Suspension
greatly increases comfort levels

Space to work and rest


A tractor cab has to be more than just
a working environment.
It needs to provide enough space for
the operator to take a break in comfort.
The storage box to the operator’s left has
plenty of room and is sealed with a close
fitting lid while the cup holder stops
refreshments from spilling. The interior
is finished with a quality plastic that
is durable and easy to clean.

Terraglide™ front axle with automatic damping


The Terraglide™ axle maintains performance in the toughest of conditions.
It provides improved traction in the field and increases tractor stability
at transport speeds. Providing a class leading 60mm of compression
travel and a total of 105mm of suspension movement, the Terraglide™
front axle incorporates self-levelling according to load and fully
automatic damping. This prevents uncontrolled suspension
movement as the load on the front of the tractor varies.
A manual override is fitted to enable the axle to be locked for
precision front linkage work or heavy breakout
operations with a loader. An automatic override
restores suspension at speeds exceeding 12kph
to maximise comfort and safety.

are offered with New Holland’s
revolutionary SuperSteer front axle.
The 65 degree turn angle is of
particular value when working in a
confined headland space. This axle -30%
also adds 200kg to the front of the
tractor and increases the tractor’s
wheelbase for exceptional stability. In a tight
turn, it also reduces the camber of the front
wheels, ensuring full ground contact is maintained
to minimise wheel slip and reduce soil
compaction. When front ballast is required,
it is mounted directly onto the axle to optimise
weight transfer so more power is transmitted to
the ground without excess weight. SuperSteer™
front axle doesn’t just increase manoeuvrability,
it increases your output.

Traction management made easy


The Terralock™ system simplifies 4WD
and differential locks engagement.
If the operator chooses, the system will
disengage them automatically at the start
of a headland turn. When the tractor returns
to work, they will both be re-engaged
automatically. The key advantage of TerraLock
is that it provides automatic control with
mounted and trailed implements.
Precise electronic control
Series TM tractors are available
with up to 5 remote rear valves with
finger operated electronic controls.
The control paddles operate like
a conventional lever, adjusting flow
rate in proportion to the position
of the paddle. The hydraulic flow rate
for each valve can be adjusted to
between 4 and 120l/min by rotating
a thumb wheel at the rear of each
control pod. Below the thumb wheel
is a ‘timed mode’ switch. This enables
repetitive operations to be recorded,
so the control paddle only needs
to be touched for the action to be
replayed automatically. A stop button
is fitted to discontinue all functions.

Headland Turn Sequencing also manages the PTO


Headland Turn Sequencing (HTS), on TM175
and TM190 models, allows the operator to record
up to 28 repetitive tasks carried out during
a headland turn. These can include raising and
lowering the rear linkage, changing up and down
the transmission and altering the engine speed.
In addition, HTS can now be set to operate
the PTO and the electronic remote valves.
To record and store a set of instructions,
the operator sets HTS to ‘record’ and then carries
out a turn manually. HTS is then ‘played back’
during subsequent turns, the pre-recorded
actions being repeated automatically.
Both 4WD and differential lock management
are handled separately and automatically
via the Terralock™ system. Auto PTO can also
be used in conjunction with HTS.

Brakes to match high road speeds


Series TM tractors feature self-adjusting and maintenance free, inboard
wet Kevlar lined disc brakes in the rear axle. Pressure lubrication
ensures the brakes remain cool and quiet, even after repeated
application. To transfer braking performance to the front
of the tractor, drive to the front axle is automatically engaged when
braking. All Series TM models feature systems to operate implement
brakes that match individual market regulations. Air braking is available.
Front axle disc brakes are available for certain 4WD models and
standard on TM175 and TM190 models with Power Command 50kph.
Electronic draft control
New Holland electronic draft control systems are designed to combine
ease of operation with precise implement control. The main linkage
operating quadrant allows the operator to set the implement as
required, with the control panel enabling speed of lower, lift limit
and draft to be easily adjusted. The fast raise and lower switch
automatically raises and lowers the implement to its original settings
without additional input from the operator. The unique TM system
uses independent position and draft controls. Draft sensing is not
compromised to maintain an even working depth. Dynamic ride
control is an automatic function that raises and lowers the rear
implement during transport to counteract unwanted bouncing.
This allows higher transport speeds with increased levels of comfort.
