TOOLS AND MATERIALS REQUIRED:

- For smooth YarnArt JEANS yarn use 1.75-2 mm crochet hook.;

- For double stranded plush yarn (Softy + CoCo) use 3-4 mm crochet hook;

- Tapestry needle;

- Long needle;

- Scissors;

- Stuffing (Holofiber or polyester batting or something like this);

- 12 mm black plastic safety eyes;

- Ribbon;

- Brown yarn - YarnArt "jEANS" №40 - for a nose.

- Light beige - YarnArt "jEANS" №05 -


(50g/160m, 55% cotton, 45% acrylic)

- White yarn - Softy Alize №55 -


(50 g/115 м, 100% micropolyester)

- Light beige yarn - Softi Alize №382 -


(50 g/115 м, 100% micropolyester)

- Mercerized cotton white yarn -


VITA cotton "COCO" №3851 -
(50 g/240 м, 100% mercerized cotton)

The main plush part of the toy is crocheted from 3 strands of yarn – 2 strands
of Alize Sotfy yarn of different colors and optionally you can add cotton strand,
so that the toy kept shape and did not yield.
Final measurement for the finished toy will be about 13.5 inches (36 cm) tall (if
you use the materials mentioned above)
You can pick up the same yarn and hook size or any yarn and suitable hook
size.

PROCESS DESCRIPTION

All the toy’s pieces are worked in single crochet spirally without slip
stitches. Mark the rounds beginning with a stitch marker or
contrasting color thread.
For smooth YarnArt JEANS yarn use 1.75-2 mm crochet hook.
For double stranded plush yarn (Softy + CoCo) use 3-4 mm crochet
hook.

LEFT LEG

Crochet with a smooth JEANS yarn.


R1: 5 sc into the MR (5)

Switch from smooth yarn to plush yarn
and 3-4 mm crochet hook.

RIGHT LEG

Crochet the right leg the same way as the left one, but do not cut yarn – chain 7
and insert hook in the spare stitch of the left leg (photo 2), then insert hook in
the next stitch of the left leg (photo 3), – 3 loops on hook – and pull through all
the loops.

Continue working 17 sc across the left leg stitches, secure the cut yarn tail
from the left leg (photo 4).

Stuff the whole piece. Pull through the 6 stitches left using a large eye needle,
close the hole, fasten off and weave in (photo 15, 16).

Make sculpting for eyes using a long needle. Bring the needle from the base of
the head (will be covered by the body) to the left side of the left eye (photo 17),
then come back through the right side of the eye to the base of the head
inserting needle next to the point you just come out (photo 18), while doing so
pull the thread to deepen the eye (the thread should lie under the eye) (photo
19).

Repeat the same instructions for the right eye, secure the thread (photo 20).

You can make eyelids above eyes. To do this, insert the long needle in the base
of the head again and lay the thread above the eye through the left side of the
eye to the right side (photo 21). Bring thread to the left side of the right
eye (photo 22) enter at the right side of the right eye and come back out in
the initial entering point, fasten off.

Using a long needle make a nose in brown. Starting at the base of the head come
out in the middle of the first round and follow the photo instructions.

Sew on arms on both sides of the body 2 rows down from the upper body part
(photo 31).
Sew the head to the body, fix the yarn (photo 31).
