    NARRATIVE REPORT

    With adheres to Education’s top priority, Manga Integrated School through the supervision
    of the School Principal Mr. Norvel H. Alangilan, initiated the School-based seminar in preference with
    the Department of Education (DEPED) guiding principle for quality education especially during this
    health crisis brought by COVID-19 pandemic. The seminar conducted was in accordance with the
    Division Memorandum No.280s.2020 on Reassignment of Technical Assistance Providers and
    Coaches in the implementation of Learning Delivery Modalities (LDM) courses for Division and
    School Leaders under the Basic Education Learning Continuity Plan (BE-LCP).

    The School-based Seminar on Distance Learning delivery Modalities aims to adopt the new
    practices on the delivery of basic education, meets the requirements towards education services and
    enhances the delivery of governance functions, thwarts miscommunication, understands the learning
    delivery modalities in the basic education continuity plan and chooses the appropriate learning
    modalities. The seminar discloses all the misconceptions brought about as to how the learning delivery
    will be done for the upcoming opening of the class. Moreover, it embarks a sense of security to the
    concerned individual most especially the the teachers and the learners as well that education is not
    sacrificed or difficult to attain even during this challenging time.

    The School-based seminar composes morning and afternoon sessions. Each session is totally
    a pack of knowledge that is worth to listen. The presence of each participant is given importance and
    most likely the primary recipient and the sole executor of this waving change.

    The one day School-based seminar wraps a very comprehensive discussion from the
    teacher-facilitators as the speakers. Each teacher-facilitator is given ample time to fully elaborate their
    topics. Topics such as Distance Learning Delivery Modalities, Distance Learning, Blended Distance
    Learning, Online Learning, Self-Learning Module, Television Based Instruction, Radio Based
    Instruction and Digital Video lessons. Each topic gives a broader view as to the implementation and
    application. On the other hand, the seminar highlights the very important role of each modality and
    even offers an easy and systematic way of blended modalities. It denotes a very challenging yet a very
    careful action towards a successful and fruitful end.
    Indeed, the seminar goes well. It naturally provides the essentials in the pursuit of education.
    Let not the pandemic shaken and threaten between and among educators, students, parents and
    professionals. Let the experiences of huge change and uncertainty reign at the moment, however, the
    most important thing that really matter is that the supremacy of education remains consistent.
