    1. SCOPE / OBJECTIVES:
    This method statement provides the controlled sequence of the methodology that will
    be used for core holes grout filling. This is to ensure that all activities are in fully
    compliance with applicable standards, drawings and specifications of the project.

    2. REFERENCES:

    1) Project Specifications (Section 03300)


    2) Approved Shop Drawings
    3) Project Quality Plan
    4) Project HSE Plan

    3. HEALTH AND SAFETY:

    Specific safety measures have to be followed as applicable, and all the safety
    measures are covered separately in the Project Safety Plan.

     All personal protective equipment shall be worn as appropriate according to the


    nature of the job.
     Area shall be kept clean at all times.
     Protection and safety shall be in accordance with approved RCC HSE Manual.
     RCC shall provide temporary fence, barricades, lights and any other preventive
    measures according the approved Safety Manual for personnel safety during
    construction.

    4. PROCEDURE:
    The material to be used for core holes filling is Fosroc Conbextra GP

    The below steps should be followed during work:

     Cleaning and roughening the surface of holes (using hand drill machine).
     Washing the hole well (better to use water jet).
     Add a proper bonding agent before filling the grout material by 5-6 minutes.
     Fill the hole with the non-shrinkage grout.
     After filling the hole close it for a day.

    5. QUALITY CONTROL:

    QA/QC Engineer should verify the work has been carried out as per approved
    shop drawings and Inspection Request to be raised for the installation works.
    However, the following points shall be ensured, in particular;
     The appropriate and approved material is used.
     The appropriate equipment is used.
     Skilled labor is used.

    6. DISTRIBUTION:

    Copies of this method statement will also be issued to the following for
    information/ action/comments: -
     Construction Manager
     Site Engineer
     HSE Engineer
     QA/QC Engineer
