    Course Objectives

    Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:


    1. Install the RRU 2219 and RRU 4415 to a quality level
    defined by Ericsson
    2. Identify the procedures undertaken when powering up
    the unit
    3. Describe and apply safety precautions to be taken
    during on-site installation and be able to handle tools
    in the correct way
    4. Identify the RRUs connection interfaces

    › Main Features
    › The following are the main features of the radio:
    › — 2-wire (DC-C) and 3-wire (DC-I) power connections. For 2-wire (DC-
    C)
    › power solutions, a DC adapter is used.
    › — GSM, WCDMA, LTE, and NB-IoT.
    › — Frequency Division Duplex (FDD).
    › — Duplex transmitter/receiver (4TX/4RX) branches.
    › Up to 10.1 Gbps CPRI (optical)
    › Radio variant with in-built TX monitor ports for frequency bands B1, B3,
    › B3B, and B7.
    › — Radio variant with compliance to NEBS requirements for frequency
    bands B2/B25, B66A and B70.
