LESSON DIFFERENTIATION
Pre-lesson
1. Pupils are asked about the title in the module and what they can see on the main
picture on the page 37.
2. Teacher wrote sentences on the board to discuss the ideas with the pupils before
sharing their responses.
Do you think shopping is a chore or a leisure activity?
When was the last time you went shopping?
What did you buy?
Post Lesson
1. Pupils are asked to identify at least three new words or phrases that they have
learned in relation to shopping.
2. Teacher collect and share words/phrases to the whole class.
Reflection: Students actively participate in the class discussion. All activity are done in the class except activity D
are given as homework. Since this is my first time teaching English Subject, the situation are a bit awkward but I
asked the students to give me their first impression on how I teach so I can improve on my next class.

given as homework, but there are some students that are still scared to share their opinion. I asked the students
to give me their first impression on their new teacher and their hope for this subject so I can improve my teaching
in the next class.

modal verbs and share their responses with the class.
Reflection: lesson went as planned. Objectives achieved. Student responded in the classroom when I asked
them questions. Students are given grammar and vocabulary homework and to be submitted on next week.

1. Pupils recap on what they learn on last week topic.
2. Pupils are given an audio record and are instructed to make list of any words that
they may feel challenging.
3. Pupils are asked to come up with their definition of the words.
Lesson Development
1. Pupils are given sometimes to discuss with their partner but by practicing
social distancing.
2. Teacher wrote on the board: explain what is happening at sport times (trendy,
walking boots tracksuit)
3. Pupils are instructed to use word from the words in brackets to help them
answer the questions and give their explanation to their talk partner.
Post Lesson
1. Pupils play games which is true or false definitions to revise words and phrases
introduced on pre-lesson;
