What is Cpr? Central Price Range

TC – Top Central

PP – Pivot Point

BC – Bottom Central

Pivot Trend Analysis

 How to identify trend using Pivot points and cpr.


o UPTREND: Stock will be above S1.
o DOWNTREND: Stock will be below R1.
 Check the higher tf trend, trade along the direction of the higher tf trend.

 Strategy 1 : Buy and sell near cpr in uptrend/downtrend, Target s1/r1


 Exit once it breaks cpr ( not in case of very narrow cpr). Narrow CPR can be broken
easily.

Breakaway Play

 Stock in a range for atleast 4-5 sessions. More the range, the better.
 Opens above/below the range resistance/support
 Opens above/below pdh and pwh
 Stock opens above/below R1/S1, on the verge of a trending session.
 Ideally, opens within R1 and R2/ S1 and S2
 ATR Trailing stop
 Stock closes near high/low of the day 80% of the times.

 CPR Width Indicator


 Wide CPR(above 0.75) - Market Sideways,stay away
 Narrow CPR(below 0.25) - Trending Market, look for breakout opportunities using price
action.

 Higher Value

In previous session, stock closes above cpr.

In current session, stock opens above cpr.

Bullish CP at CPR with high volume after retracement.

Target R1,R2

 Overlapping Higher Value

 Lower Value

In previous session, stock closes below cpr.

In current session, stock opens below cpr.

Bearish CP at CPR with high volume after retracement.

Target S1,S2

 Overlapping Lower Value

 Outside Value

 Inside Value

CPR width below 0.25

Opens beyond previous day's range

If does not open beyond previous range, then look for breakout opportunities using
price action

Magnet Trade

 Trade within first 30-60 minutes of the day.


 Previous session close within this session's cpr.
 Gap up below R1/If gaps up above R1 then wait for R1 to be broken in 15 min tf with
high volume.
 Opens below PDH.
 Central Pivot is reached 63% of the time at some point during the day.
 CPR Gravitational pull and the filling of common gap.
 Don't wait the entire day for filling of the gap.
 Target not below Daily tf gap border.
Camarilla Pivot Points

 L3,H3 - Once market reaches these levels, we see a reversal back towards the mean.

 L4,H4 - Last line of defence

Camarilla Breakaway Play

 Same as normal breakaway play but this time opens above H3 or below L3 as well.

Counter Trend Breakout Trades

 Price opens the session with a gap that is completely against the ongoing trend.

 Bullish Breakout - ongoing bearish trend, day opens with a gap above H3 and PDH,
Overlapping Lower value Relationship.

 Bearish Breakout - ongoing bullish trend, day opens with a gap below L3 and PDL,
Overlapping Higher value Relationship.
