We’re the Times and The Sunday Times University of the Year for Teaching Quality 2020.
The award recognises our consistently high student satisfaction scores, as measured by the

We have experienced a sustained increase in the quantity of our work in terms of undergraduate,
postgraduate, corporate and consultancy activities over the last few years. We have also launched a
number of graduate degree apprenticeships.
The group is responsible for the delivery of full-time masters programmes in international marketing
as well as the ongoing development of flexible delivery programmes. The group also contributes to
MBA and other postgraduate programmes within the College. At undergraduate level we are
responsible for delivering a suite of marketing degrees including BA (Hons) Marketing, BA (Hons)

The Subject Group and its programmes have strong links to the CIM and we were one of the first
groups in the country to establish a CIM Student Chapter. We also make a significant contribution to
undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in other University faculties.
A key focus of our development is our involvement in higher degree apprenticeships, knowledge
transfer and corporate development programmes. We pride ourselves on the strong vocational nature
of our teaching and are particularly interested in recruiting people with a mix of academic skills and
strong practical experience, gained from holding marketing roles in industry, particularly in terms of
