Assignment Brief
You have just been appointed as a marketing manager of a brand of your choice. Your boss has
requested you to write report on the essential questions that you would ask him in marketing this
brand.
Task 1
You are requested to write your report by referring to the key questions you would ask of any
marketing situation relating at least two examples from brands of your choice. (25 marks)
Task 2
Critically analyse the importance of the Marketing Audit as part of the marketing planning
process.
Relate examples as art of your answer. Remember to refer to the three levels macro-environment,
micro-environment and internal analysis in relation to a brand. (30 marks)
Task 3
Critically analyse what a SWOT analysis is and why it is important for a marketer to conduct
such an analysis. Your answer must be related to the selected brands. (25 marks)

Critically analyse the steps of the Marketing Plan for selected brands. (20 marks)
